Hello photography friends, I'm sorry for the silence- I've had a few technical hiccups that have made it tricky to log in and share any updates. Thankfully, things seem to be back on track now, and I'm excited to dive back into the creative flow. Let's get inspired and make some photography magic!

What's New

You might've spotted some fresh photographs added to the website (finally!). I've also updated the contact number. There were a few complications with the previous one, and switching to a new number turned out to be the simplest fix. Fingers crossed this resolves the issues I've been facing behind the scenes.

Freebies

If you've visited the website recently, you might have spotted some new additions to some of the pages. I'm currently looking to refresh a few more albums across the site- and here's where you come in.

I'm offering a limited number of free photoshoots to help update the following collections:

• Pets- A diverse mix of breeds and species, from tiny rodents and reptiles to majestic dogs. If you've got a unique companion, I'd love to photograph them!

• Equine- Horses and ponies, (donkey's too), with or without their owners. Whether in-hand, ridden, or simply grazing, I'm aiming for a rich variety of equine moments.

• Colour Madness- This vibrant, powder-filled style is still new to me, but I'm excited to explore it further. Ideal for families, friends, or even animal sessions (Please note: the powder may stain fur for a few weeks).

• Extras- I'm looking to capture a range of events, from musical and drama performances to birthday parties, cake smashes, pumpkin picking, and festive Christmas card portraits.

If any of these sound like your kind of fun, and you are interested in being a part of this creative refresh, please drop me a message via any of the socials, the updated contact number or through the site. I'll be selecting a handful of participants over the coming weeks, so please do not hesitate to reach out!

Free mini Photo Challenge

Due to the recent technical issues, I wasn't able to run the mini photo challenge- but now we're back on track and ready to go again!

I'd love to see your photography creativity shine, so why not share your unique perspective in this months challenge? Whether it's a moody landscape, a quirky pet portrait, or a burst of colour, let your imagination lead the way.

Keep an eye on the Facebook page for full details- how to enter and vote, and yes... there just might be a prize for the photo with the most votes!

Each sponsor will receive:

• Up to three free photoshoots throughout 2026, with flexible scheduling.

  - Equine sponsors may use up to two of these sessions at local shoes or events.

• Access to 10+ digital downloads per shoot via a personal Pixieset album- adding up to30+ images across the year of 2026.

• A discount card valid throughout the sponsorship season and for one full year after it ends.

• Discounted print options for any images you'd like to turn into keepsakes.

There are no catches or hidden fees- all I ask is that the sponsors credit Ali Watson Photography when sharing any of the images.

Creativity thrives when shared, and I’m thrilled to be nearly ready to unveil a brand-new venture—something a little different from Ali Watson Photography.

While photography will always be a core part of who I am, I’ve long been drawn to other artistic mediums too—drawing, painting, clay work, and more. This new chapter will bring those passions to life in a fresh and exciting way.
