🌈 Family Moments, Brighter Days, and Summer Slowly Arriving
As we move from late spring into early days of summer, everything feels like it's shifting again - the light softens, the evening stretch out, and the world seems to slow just enough to notice the small things. May slipped by quietly, wrapped up in family moments and gentle routines, so this month's post brings both May and June together in one calm, seasonal catch-up.
✨ A Slow but Steady Few Weeks
The last couple of months have been a mix of busy moments and quieter stretches. This time of year is busy in a more personal way than a photography way. We have a few birthdays within the family over the next few months, so photography took a bit of a back seat during May due to some milestone celebrations.
Now that things have settled, I've finally had the chance to work on the blogs and update some of the freebies. (which are to arrive on the site very soon)!
A Fresh Look
One of the biggest changes recently has been giving the website a proper refresh. There's been a lot happening behind the scenes - a full update and a much-needed tidy. It's not 100% finished yet, but it's already looking so much cleaner and closer to what I envisioned.
If you'd like to take a look and see the changes so far:
☀️Summer Sessions Now Open
Bookings are open for summer sessions, including my lavender field minis, If you'd like to create something natural and meaningful, I'd love to chat.
📸Model Call Update
I'm still looking for a few more dog and equine models - with or without their owners - to help continue developing my online portfolio. These sessions are relaxed and unhurried, perfect for energetic dogs or curious horses, and ideal for anyone who loves natural, connection-focused photography.
If you'd like to take part, just send me a message. I'd love to create something beautiful with you.

🪻Lavender Minis - Early Bird Spaces Filling
Lavender season is just around the corner, and I'm so excited to be offering a small number of lavender mini sessions this summer at Warwickshire Lavender Farm. The soft colour, gentle light, and peaceful setting makes it a beautiful backdrop for family portraits.
I can already picture the rows of purple, the warm evening glow, and the calm atmosphere that makes these sessions feel so special. It's a setting that naturally brings out connection, movement, and those quiet little moments that make a photograph feel timeless.
I'll be opening a limited number of introductory spaces at £60, with the standard price of £75 once those early slots are filled.
If you' like to register your interest or secure one of the introductory places, feel free to get in touch.

🌿Freebies
No new freebies went live in May (it was a wonderfully busy month in other ways!), but I've got several new ones lined up for June. If you enjoy calm, simple resources that help you prepare for your session, keep an eye out - more are on the way.
🤝 Community Connections
Community has always been at the heart of what I do - from working with local families and pet owners to connecting with small businesses who share similar values of kindness, creativity, and care. I'm continuing to build these relationships as my work grows, and I love finding ways to support and collaborate with others in the area.
💬 Kind Words
Hearing how families and pet owners feel after their sessions is one of the most rewarding parts of this work. Your words mean so much, and they help others understand what a session with me is really like.
If you'd like to leave a review, you're welcome to send it by message or email, or post it on Facebook or Google. I simply ask that the reviews avoid using children's names - I'll adjust them if needed to keep everything confidential.
Opening Times
I've changed the way I share my opening times. Instead of set days and hours, sessions are now available by appointment on selected days during Warwickshire term time.
If you'd like to book, just get in touch with a preferred date and time, and I'll confirm availability or offer a few alternatives. Availability for school and bank holidays will be shared through social media and blog posts, so it's worth keeping an eye on those.
That's all for now - see you next time.
